The sun is bright with light
The moon is dark
Earth is both dark and light
The earth receives light straight from the sun
The sun sends light upon the moon giving the moon light
The moon gives earth light at night
The earth receives light throughout the day.
The sun sends light to the moon so the earth can still have light even when the sun is not in site the earth still receives its reflections.
